Waverly Road access to and from State Road 37 will permanently close on or after Tuesday, April 14. The official detour for local traffic will follow Big Bend Road and Old S.R. 37. (March 18, 2020) — The I-69 Finish Line Project Office at 7851 Waverly Rd. near Waverly is temporarily closed to the public as an added precaution with current health concerns about the novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The public may continue to interact with the project team by calling 855-INDOT-4U (1-855-463-6848), emailing INDOT@indot.in.gov, or completing the web form at INDOT4U.com.

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (Jan. 7, 2020) – The Indiana Department of Transportation has awarded Walsh Construction Company II LLC a $164.8 million contract to transform six miles of State Road 37 into Interstate 69. Walsh’s proposal was the lowest price among four responsive bids and $7.8 million below estimate. This is the second major contract award for I-69 Finish Line.

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 8, 2018) – The final leg of Interstate 69 in Indiana is a step closer to completion with the release of the Tier 2 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Record of Decision (ROD) for I-69 Section 6. In addition to increasing economic activity in the Martinsville to Indianapolis corridor, I-69 Section 6 will improve safety and travel times for motorists.
