MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (March 29, 2020) – I-69 Finish Line contractors are scheduled to begin work this week to improve the State Road 144 intersections at S.R. 37 and Mann Road/Centenary Drive.
Work to widen portions of the S.R. 144 intersection with S.R. 37 is expected to begin Wednesday and take up to two weeks. Traffic crews will be modifying the SR 37 signals and Mann Road/Centenary Drive flashers over several weeks.
This year the I-69 Finish Line project is preparing for the 2021 closure of S.R. 37 in Martinsville. Intersection improvements will help safely move more traffic when S.R. 144 serves as part of the detour route.
